A custom build watch is a unique, commercially unavailable, hand-assembled watch using both genuine Seiko and non-Seiko, aftermarket parts.
Watch modification is the process of replacing original watch parts (dial, hands, crystal, etc.) with new ones. Probably the most popular base watch of choice is the Seiko 5.
